VOS has introduced the upgraded Ferrari 488 GTB. After the intervention of the German tuning company, the vehicle has not only become more attractive in appearance, but also acquired additional horsepower.

Since Ferrari began to replace the old atmospheric engines with new turbo ones, various tuning companies have got more room to maneuver. As a proof of this statement, VOS standing for “Vision of Speed”, was able to squeeze out of the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine 900 hp and 970 Nm of maximum torque. Impressive numbers, considering that the factory version of 488 GTB has only 670 hp and 760 Nm.

No information was provided about the dynamic characteristics of the vehicle, but there is no doubt that the modified 488 GTB will be faster than the standard model, a 0-to-60-mph sprint time in the mid-two seconds isn’t out of reach. Likewise, a top speed in the vicinity of 220 mph could be attainable.

To extract this much power from the engine, the company employees had to optimize the engine control unit, as well as work really hard on the air intake system. By the way, a new exhaust system was also installed. Moreover, Ferrari 488 GTB can optionally morph into a titanium exhaust or an Akrapovic setup.

Practically, all the stylistic innovations in this Ferrari 488 GTB are associated with carbon. Adjustments to the 488’s exterior all come in the form of carbon fiber and involve a lower front splitter, custom side skirts, a rear diffusor and a customized rear wing that has been fabricated as a complete mono bloc component. Additionally the mirror caps and air intakes are finished in the lightweight and contrasting material.

The standard wheels were replaced with new 21-inch wheels from LOMA Michelin Pilot Super Sport. VOS Performance also fitted the 488 GTB with a new set of sports springs from H&R.
