2017 Audi S5 Cabriolet Was Spotted

The new Audi S5 Cabriolet has been spotted testing for the first time on the Nürburgring German. The new Audi actually follows the footsteps of its family S5 Coupe and the S5 Sportback, however, it will, of course, be different with the material of its convertible top.

Judging by the pictures, the design of the convertible will have a lot in common not only with other versions of the S5, but will also borrow some features from the new A4. Camouflage, of course, hides the details very well, but a number of new elements can be seen: new a prominent grille, sporty air intakes, and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. Also a decent-sized trunk with an integrated spoiler should be highlighted.

The convertible has a 3.0-Liter TFSI V6 engine under the hood that produces 354 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The engine will run with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and a rear-biased quattro all-wheel drive system. This combination should allow the convertible to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in about 4.8 seconds. The maximum speed is likely to get an already traditional 250 km/h.

Buyers looking for something a little more powerful, has the right to rely on the “charged” version of the RS5. It is rumored that this car will lose its current 4.2-liter V8 engine, but instead will receive a new twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6, which capacity is estimated at about 500 hp.
