Audi started to test the new Generation RS4 Avant. The car was spotted during road tests in Europe. According to World Car Fans, the new Audi will debut in 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, making the RS4 a 2018 model year vehicle.

Audi RS4 Avant will receive a unique grille, a more aggressive front spoiler and intake treatment, a different exhaust system and a modified brake system. The interior of the car will get new seats and different dashboard.

The RS4 will adopt the same 3.0 Liter Tfsi V6 unit that powers the new S4 – replacing its previous 4.2 liter naturally-aspirated V8. Motor power can be from 420 to 500 horsepower. The unit will work with the eight-speed automatic transmission. RS4 new generation will be available in the sedan body style.

Audi introduced a new generation A4 in June 2015. The car is available for purchase in the sedan and wagon. A4 Sedan of the new generation surpasses its predecessor in size. Vehicle length is 4.73 m, and the width is 1.84 m. The size of the wheelbase has been increased by 12 mm and now stands at 2.82 meters. The new car has got modified LED optics, different grille and different lights.

The new A4 is the second model of Audi, which was built on an improved version of the modular MLB platform. Due to the extensive use of high-strength steel, aluminum and composite materials, the vehicle weight has been decreased by about 120 kilos. Thus, the basic version of the sedan’s weight, equipped with a 1.4-liter TFSI engine, is only 1320 kilos.
