Mercedes-AMG GLC43 With 362HP Is Here

Mercedes presented AMG-prepped version of the GLC SUV. The public debut of the car will take place at the New York International Auto Show at the end of March. The car sales will begin in the summer of 2016 in Europe. Prices are yet to be announced.

The new SUV received a front bumper sporting larger vents, side skirts and a rear diffuser, along with a diamond grille, four-pipe exhaust, 19-inch alloy wheels and black exterior trims. The new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC has new seats and a revised instrument panel.

Crossover gets its power from power from a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 gasoline lump. Motor power is 362 horsepower. The unit works in conjunction with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. The new AMG GLC 43 4MATIC reaches to 60mph in 4.8 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km per hour.

The GLC43 is equipped with an AMG Ride Control sports suspension with adaptive dampers, which have three options for settings: Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus. Also, the driver will have a start-stop system, an upgraded braking system and AMG Dynamic Select system, which allows the driver to adjust the modes of the engine, transmission, steering system and suspension.

Mercedes GLC crossover was introduced last year. Compared to its GLK predecessor, the car has been changed significantly in appearance. The SUV lost its rectangular forms and received the A- and C-Class style optics. The wheel base of the crossover has been increased by 118 mm in length, the new crossover has 120 mm more in length and 50 millimeters more in width. The increase in dimensions effects on both the passengers free space and the trunk.
