The German aftermarket specialist AC Schnitzer has recently unveiled its crazy project ACL2 iteration of the BMW M235i that will officially debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. The style of the compact car similar to Need for Speed online game is supported by a truly enormous power.
The compact “rocket” with a 3.0 liter twin-turbo inline-six produces 570 hp power output and reaches to 62mph in 5.0 seconds. If you like to perform the sprint faster, you can choose the newest 370-strong M2 Coupe, which is faster by 0.7 seconds. Or the best choice will be the monster AC Schnitzer ACL2. The sports car is based on an M235i modification.
Technical details are expected next week when the ACL2 will make its official premiere at the exhibition in Geneva, however, here are some amazing nuances. Thus, the green monster develops 570 hp! The weight is reduced and the power capacity increased to 2.54 kg/hp. The massive wheels are covering an updated braking system, while the suspension and exhaust systems have also been fully transformed.
It’s quite a lot to take in when you step into the ACL2’s cabin as well. Aside from the abundant AC Schnitzer badging, there are new pedals, seats, gear knob, handbrake grip, trim pieces and many more. The steering wheel is a particular point of focus, resembling something the Predator would use.
