2017 Porsche Panamera Caught On Camera

Porsche continues testing the new generation of Sports Car Panamera. Hybrid version of Porsche Panamera has been filmed in the midst of testing wearing very little camouflage in Stuttgart, Germany. The debut of the new hybrid will take place at Geneva Motor Show in March 2016.

The hybrid version of the sports car will be called S E-Hybrid. The power plant will have a V6 petrol engine and a lithium-ion battery pack like the outgoing model, however it will, probably, be more powerful and have a higher all-electric range. Panamera will have a theoretical electric range of 38 kilometers.

The car is built on a MSB platform. Due to this, the sports car will be much lighter than the current generation. The engine range for the standard version of the model will have two motor options – V6 and V8. Interior will vary as new seats and other central console will replace the old ones. Analog buttons will be replaced by sensors. Drivers will also get a new infotainment system with a large display.

In addition, a new generation of Boxster sports car will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. The brand’s management has decided to change the brand name of the vehicle. Now the model will be called the 718 Boxster.

The sports car is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with four cylinders. The power unit makes 300 hp and 380 Nm of torque. In addition to offering significantly enhanced fuel economy, the new turbo-four takes the 781 Boxster from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds when the standard 6-speed manual is replaced by the available 7-speed PDK automatic and a Sport Chrono Package. The maximum speed is 170mph.
