Porsche has introduced the updated versions of 911 Turbo and Turbo S. The public debut of the new sports cars will take place at the Auto Show in Detroit in January 2016. The sports cars will go on sale in Europe immediately after their debut. The pricing on the Porsche 911 Turbo family will start at 174,669 euros.

Both of the models got modified fascia, revised air intakes and other optics. They are also equipped with the new door handles and remodeled 20-inch alloy wheels. The designers have made small changes inside the 911 Turbo and Turbo S: different seats, a steering wheel with a “four modes of driving” selector, updated Porsche Communication Management system and a standard Bose audio system.

A special package Sport Chrono is available for the sports cars. Sport Chrono comes with a new Sport Response button, which activates the acceleration mode for 20 seconds. The four driving modes include Normal, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual.

Both sports car are powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine. The engine power of the 911 Turbo is 540 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes just three seconds. Maximum speed is 320 kilometers per hour.

On the other hand, the 911 Turbo S has 580 horsepower. The car is capable to rich up to 100 km/h in 2,9 seconds. The maximum speed is 330 kilometers per hour.

Recall that Porsche has already begun to test a new generation of 911 at the moment. The car will be built on an updated version of the current platform. The sports car will get a wider rear axle and a new design. The range of motor will include a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. In addition, the car will get a hybrid powerplant. As the head of the 911 model line Erhard Messle previously said, the company is forced to take such a step because of stricter rules on emissions of harmful substances.
