I am addicted to purses and most of my crocheations are made of yarn. I wanted to make something different and I've seen a lot of coin purses made of cord so I made myself one and now I'm sharing it with you. I love the outcome of this purse. It's tight and shiny.
To make this purse you will need the ff:
4mm Tiny cord
Size 4.0 mm or 7/0 hook
Zipper
Tapestry needle and thread
Procedure:
Start with a magic circle.
Round 1: Ch 20. 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook. ***Sc into next 18 chains. 3 sc in last ch. Working on the other side, sc into the remaining stitches until end. Sl st to join.
Round 2: Ch 1. Sc, 2 dc in same st. Skip 2 stitches. *Sc, 2 dc into next stitch. Skip 2 stitches**. Repeat *-** until end. Sl st to join.
Round 3: Ch 1. Sc, 2 dc into same stitch. Skip 2 dc. *Sc, 2 dc in next st. Skip 2dc.** Repeat * - ** until end. Sl st to join.
Round 4-11: Repeat Round 3.
Round 12: Ch 1. Sc to the same stitch. Sc into the remaining stitches until end. Join. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Attach the zipper by sewing it on the sides of the opening.
Weave in ends!
