There are lots of exciting new arrivals to share with you this month! Our first Purl Diver Color Club Yarn is here: Mantis Shrimp on the delightfully squishy Cloudgate yarn base from Lorna’s Laces (shown below left)! Cloudgate is a bulky weight blend of 90% superwash merino wool 10% nylon fiber, which means it’s both soft AND durable. You can see how this vibrant colorway works up in our sample which is knit using the Roxanne Cowl pattern (below right).

Our colorway was inspired by this photo of a mantis shrimp was taken in Komodo Nat’l Park in Indonesia while Susan’s husband Murray was diving with their son Daniel. We think the folks at Lorna’s Laces outdid themselves for this latest exclusive colorway!

We’ve also received the Royale limited edition gift set from Knitter’s Pride, which is the perfect gift for discerning knitters. This gorgeous set features color-coded wooden needles with metal tips, and a custom made zipper pouch which holds the color-coded cords and other accessories; it’s beautifully packaged in a Paris-themed box (we would also like to note that these sets were released over a month ago, before the tragic events which took place last week).
