Yeah, we are so excited to have the 25 snowflake cards complete and to our customer for mailing in time for Christmas.

We went back and forth many times on the colors to use on the snowflakes: dark Blue, silver, Light Blue, white, it seemed our options were endless! So ultimately we went with light blue and white sparkle paper. This light blue will match what we used on the inside. Using the Cuttlebug to make the snowflakes was a huge time saver but we had to think it through a bit. Since the snowflakes weren’t exactly symmetrical, we had to “flip” the two blue ones to make them match up to make the 3D idea work.

We just love the way we were able to use multiple techniques on this and allow our customer the ability to put their own photo of their son right in the card. The pocket we created allows the recipient to simply pull out the photo and put it wherever they want or keep it in an album.

Of course why wouldn’t they want to keep the card too?!??
