We are so excited when we get an order for a “mixed box” of cards! We just received one to include: Valentine’s Day, Birthday, Sympathy, and Get Well. Our client was fairly open to what he wanted, only a few requests of what to put on the insides of 3 of the categories.

So… off we go!

We will start with Birthday since those ideas are really wide open. We have had one Idea in our minds for a while and decided to use it for the first birthday card. As you know, sometimes you can just let the paper be your guide. We have this beautiful purple, black, and gray paper with flowers and thought it was the perfect complement to the design we had in mind.

One of the cool things we decided to do was actually make a slit in the card under the middle panel so part of the Ribbon would show through on the inside. Something a little different and would hopefully make the recipient say “oh, that’s cool.”

The little tag is attached to the ribbon with a little Safety Pin – so cute!

Now to figure out the rest of the inside….
