With school starting I thought some parents could benefit.  We always have to keep one on hand at school.

Do you have an Epipen in your house?  We have one on hand at home and at the school for my son at all times.  Anyone who has to have these knows they are really expensive!  It’s frustrating because they don’t have long expiration dates either.  These are not medicines you want to expire.  Ours expired again and we needed more.  You buy them in 2 packs.  Even if you have insurance they cost a lot.  The ones I picked up today were $70.01 after insurance paid.  It makes me sick!

There is a program where the company pays the copay up to $100 for you!  I thought it might be too good to be true, but since it was FREE I filled out the form. There were no income guidelines or super personal information needed.  After I was done I had to print out an EpiPen Co-pay card.  I took the whole sheet of paper to the pharmacy when I picked up the Epi-Pens today.  They looked at the numbers, entered them in their computer and it covered the entire $70.01!

I paid NOTHING!  I was so excited!
