My dad is an Idaho boy through and through. He still lives in the same small town he was born in and knows everyone by name. If I were to describe his “type,” I’d first have to tell you that his hands are always cracked and dirty from tilling them through the garden, reaching under the car hood, and tinkering with greasy nuts and bolts. Having him make a wish list gave us some great ideas for Father’s Day and other upcoming holidays. A lot of times, my siblings all go in together on a larger item so that dad can have something big that he really wants. This year, we settled on grilling gear. His burgers are the finest around. Oh, and I threw in a dress shirt and a new pair of socks for good measure.
