Pictogram Punches

Retiring Products

One of my favorite features of the Pictogram Punches Stamp Set is that it coordinates with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  I am sad to say that both of these products are retiring and part of this retiring product highlight.  This is a great stamp set for creating quick cards.  Today’s card came together just as I pictured using the vase.  I actually have 2 versions of this weeks card sketch that are just slightly different from each other yet very different.

Both cards I’m sharing feature Daffodil Delight from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack layered with Whisper White.  Also, the front whisper white layer on both cards are stamped with Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo using the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set.  The first card I’m sharing has an added banner using the Brights Designer Series Paper in the Daffodil Delight and the second card uses the Melon Mambo for the banner.  At this point is were the cards change significantly…

On the first card I’ve stamped the vase using the “Huffing Technique” which is colored using both the Melon Mambo and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers.  I used another retiring product called the Note Tag punch to punch out the vase.  The flowers from the Pictogram Punches stamp set are stamped with the Daffodil Delight then punched out with the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  Flowers were easily attached using glue dots and finished off with Brights Candy Dots…  And, yes, the Glue Dots are another retiring product which I’m definitely going to miss.  I added a punched Melon Mambo 1/2″ circle following with the sketch.  The finishing touch is another retiring product known as the Expressions Natural Elements which I sponged with Daffodil Delight then attached to the card front as my sentiment.  Honestly, I don’t know why I haven’t used the Expressions Natural Elements more often as they are really cool and look amazing when sponged with a little color.

Now, for the second card, the vase and flowers feature the same colors as the first card other than I used Daffodil Delights Candy Dots instead of the Melon Mambo.  The vase is punched out using the Decorative Label punch and attached as a layer over the banner.  I added a Daffodil Delight 1/2″ punched circle.  As the finishing touch, I added the “Happiness Always” from the And Many More Stamp Set which is, again, a retiring product.

Oh, boy…  So many retiring product!  Now, YOU don’t want to miss out on these items.  Go ahead and place your order TODAY!
