Pane of 5 Stamps

Beam yourself aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise with this special Star Trek 50th anniversary stamp pane of the Original Star Trek series!

This collectible pane includes five stamps featuring some of the most memorable characters from the original Star Trek series: the U.S.S. Enterprise’s “Fab Four”—Captain Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and Doctor Leonard “Bones” McCoy—and a villain viewers loved to hate, Commander Kor of the Klingon Empire.

Classic head shots of each character—designed using stills from the original series—are set against interior or exterior shots of the vessels on which they lived and worked.

Kirk and Kor are pictured with the Enterprise and a Klingon battle cruiser, while the other three officers are in their respective elements—on the bridge, in the engine room, and in sickbay.

Lenticular Souvenir Sheet (Animated Stamps)

See Star Trek’s special effects in action on this two-stamp souvenir sheet! The two high-value definitive stamps featured on the sheet were created using a complex “lenticular” printing process that makes images appear to move when viewed from different angles.

The stamps pay homage to Star Trek’s most famous technology—the transporter used to instantly beam people from one place to another, often in the nick of time—and one of the greatest episodes of the original series, “The City on the Edge of Forever.”

The stamps show crew members magically appearing and disappearing: on the transporter platform of the U.S.S. Enterprise and through a time portal known as the Guardian of Forever.

Stamp designer Kosta Tsetsekas, of Vancouver-based Signals Design Group, saw the lenticular technique, an opportunity to recognize both the show’s futuristic vision and the now old-fashioned special effects that brought it to life.

  • “The City on the Edge of Forever” is not only one of the most critically acclaimed episodes from the original Star Trek series but has also been ranked by some as one of the greatest episodes in television history.
  • The transporter on Star Trek worked by converting its subjects into an energy pattern to beam them to their target, then rematerializing them into matter.

Framed Print: Captain Kirk. Signed by William Shatner

This framed print of the Captain himself will rank highly among Star Trek collectibles! Who wouldn’t want to have James Tiberius Kirk at the helm of their ship 24-7?

With this framed, limited edition, numbered collectible—signed by Canadian actor William Shatner himself—your home or office will operate under the capable command of the charismatic captain and his piercing brown eyes.

This one-of-a-kind souvenir celebrating the 50th anniversary of the original Star Trek series includes an enlarged print of the Captain Kirk stamp, a special four-stamp souvenir sheet, and the Official First Day Cover of the U.S.S. Enterprise—postmarked in Vulcan, Alberta.

U.S.S. Enterprise and Klingon battle cruiser

Set a course for this striking souvenir sheet! It includes two PermanentTM domestic stamps featuring two of the fastest and most formidable starships on the final frontier: the Constitution-class U.S.S. Enterprise and a Klingon D7-class battle cruiser.

The surrounding pane offers fans a thrilling view of the Enterprise from below, with its powerful torpedoes blazing.

In the 1960s, when the world was still striving to put a man on the moon, the spacecraft in the original Star Trek series were beyond viewers’ wildest imaginations.

These futuristic vehicles could travel through space faster than the speed of light, cloak themselves in invisibility, deflect attacks with their built-in energy shields, unleash massive firepower, and support a crew of hundreds of people for years at a time. Not to mention, they looked awesome! What else could you ask for in a mobile office?

  • The filming model of the Enterprise was 3.35 metres (11 feet) long.
  • To give it an immediately threatening look, the Klingon battle cruiser was designed to evoke the shape of a manta ray.
