The Lutron Caseta Smart Bridge is necessary if you need to be controlling the lights in your house through your smart home device. This is especially helpful if you’ve forgotten to turn off the lights or are out of town and want to set up a system to ward off any break ins.
To set up the Lutron Caseta Smart Bridge, you need to physically plug in the box to your ethernet plug. This Bridge is not wireless and not wifi. However, the bridge does come with an ethernet cable for you to use to plug in.
