My Latest Mani Meets Salon and Spa Directory: RGB Tropic and Essie Leading Lady Moon Mani at Olive & June

While I typically paint my own nails, I've had so much going on the past week that they were (gasp!) bare. When I told my friend Felicia this, she ordered me to get a manicure STAT. I listened and booked an appointment right then and there for a manicure at Olive & June.

I had already visited this Beverly Hills nail salon once for a pedicure, and I knew I'd be back before long. And here's why...

The nail polish wall at Olive & June. Deborah Lippmann, RGB and NARS, oh my!

Look. At. That. Nail. Polish. Wall. Seriously, have you ever seen anything so glorious? They have a host of Deborah Lippmann, NARS, Nails Inc. and RGB nail polishes to choose from, so my heart just gets happy the moment I walk in the door. It's just a bonus that every nail technician is completely on her game, AND that the space is warm and inviting. I love the pedicure chairs -- you literally sink into them and never want to leave.

I knew that I wanted to get a half moon manicure in red and green to celebrate Christmas -- because, yes, I am a Jew who loves Christmas! -- and, while I brought my own polishes, ended up using ones from the gorgeous nail polish wall. I chose RGB Tropic (a rich hunter green creme) and Essie Leading Lady (the most perfect glittery cherry red), and my manicurist, Jessica, got to work.

Not only are the services at Olive & June spectacular -- nails and cuticles are buffed, pushed, clipped and polished to perfection -- but Jessica's nail art skills are pretty darn impressive! She freehanded the half moons with a super thin brush and really took her time to make sure the manicure was absolutely flawless.

A shot of my manicure with flash. I love how it brings out the sparkle of Essie Leading Lady.

One hand. Look at that glitter set against the creme! So in love.

I'm totally in love with this manicure and it came out exactly how I wanted. I'm definitely in the holiday spirit!

Prices vary depending on which manicure you choose and how intricate your nail art is, but my manicure was $75. For more information about Olive & June and to book an appointment, visit olivejune.com.
