Do you love how candles set the perfect mood or help you relax after a hard day at work? Learn how to make your own eco-friendly candles using natural waxes such as soy and beeswax, which are better for you and the environment. In this Class, students will learn the basics of Candle safety, equipment and materials (includes waxes, wicks and fragrances) and the different types of candle making techniques (container candles, rolled beeswax and votives). A special demonstration on how to make candle luminaries will also be presented. All techniques learned in this class will make great gifts, to keep for yourself or to sell. Each student will make a container candle, rolled beeswax candle and votive candles and will take home an extensive handout on how to make their own eco-friendly candles at home. Lab Fee: $20.00 (cash) will be collected on the day of class.NO REFUNDS 7 DAYS PRIOR TO CLASS START DATE
