Thicker wall + more depth/
This gift box is 7.5" X 6". The depth of the box can be changed by cutting the walls from thicker wood. The walls are cut from a single board so the fit is ensured.
If you are going to make the walls thicker and you do not have boards that thick then you can do a glue up of two boards. It is best to glue the boards together before you cut the pattern. This makes the fit easier so the box opens well.
