Many people collect Angel figurines and other angel collectibles. Angels often provide a feeling of comfort and protection. I hope this pattern brings that feeling to you.
This pattern is cut primarily from 1/4" thick wood. The base is 1/2" to add stability. I enjoyed the idea of the angel visiting the doves of peace. The angel is four layers thick including the dove.
Here is a link to Angel figurines from a Google Image search. It gives an idea of just how many people look to angels for comfort.
My Angel Story:
I have an Angel story that my mother often told. When we were children our maternal grandmother lived with us for a while. She was seriously ill and needed our help. She was in the hospital and my mother was staying at her bedside.
My grandmother had been sedated and sleeping for a few days but one afternoon she briefly woke.
She motioned to my mother to come closer and whispered this in her ear. "Libby, there is an angel at the foot of my bed. He says that he will take me tonight and come back soon for another.".
My grandmother passed away that night. In a matter of weeks, my father passed from a sudden heart attack.
At first, my mother was shaken by the Angel's visit but later she found comfort in the fact that the Angel was there to assist my grandmother. I believe that my mother retold the story so often because it was comforting.
The Angel Museum
The Largest Collection of Angels in the World.
Unfortunately, I read that the museum is now permanently closed but this video will show you what an incredible collection this is.
The angel museum had over 14,000 angel collectibles. It was located in Wisconsin. Here is a link to an article that gives more information about the museum. LINK

2023 Personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns are open for orders.

I am taking orders for this year's personalized Christmas Ornament Patterns. The price is the same as always. Five names minimum for $5. $1 for each additional name.
The order form will accept up to twenty names. If you need more than twenty then start a new order form. PLEASE double-check the spelling of names. PLEASE, make sure that you select an ornament style for each name entered. After the order form is complete scroll to the bottom and hit the SUBMIT Button.
I will complete the order and email you the patterns as a PDF just like all the patterns in my catalog. You will not need to pay for the patterns until they are delivered. If you are pleased with the patterns there will be a payment link in the email. There will also be an address to send cash or check payments
My goal is to complete the orders within three days. As the holiday season gets into full swing I may need more time. I will keep times posted on the blog.
