This fishing eagle is almost 14" tall. Both the scrollwork and the backer board patterns are broken upon, two sheets of paper. You may need to glue up boards for this pattern. The glue-ups need to be 12.5" X 14.25". I call for 1/4" and 1/2" thick boards but those are only suggestions. Use what works for you.
Because of the size of the pattern, Baltic birch plywood would be a good choice.
