Feathers and Purple

I had a birthday card to make, which was a nice change to making festive cards - that time of year!

The topper I used on this, was a nice gold gilded one, lovely bird design, and such nice Subtle Lilac tones that are blended into the gilded gold.

So I decided on going with Purple, to highlight that subtle lilac in the bird.

I embossed a piece of purple card, for the layering, do like the dots embossing folder, goes with all kinds of themes.

The Feathers embellishments were made with my Hot off the Press Feather cutting die, cuts really nice and has enough detail when embossed, this time I used holographic purple card with that die. Added a few simple white pearls to those. And finished off with a nice double bow, I made with organza ribbon.
