Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 conducted by Indian Institute of Management is a computer based Common Admission Test and this test will make you eligible for getting admission in top Business schools. After graduation, if you want to go for MBA, then this test is the best way to secure a seat in top IIMs and other prestigious MBA colleges. However this isn’t a piece of cake, you need to secure a top percentile and surpass other students to make sure you stand a chance to get admission. CAT 2017 is going to be no different from previous year test but it will be more tough and challenging. The expected cutoff for CAT 2017 is expected to be as high as 99.6% for IIM, Ahmedabad. Candidates under a special category like SC, ST, OBC and PwD get some benefit of reservation, even the application fee for these students is half of what general candidates pay. Exam fee for general candidates is Rs.1800 and Rs.900 for special category students.

Hard work always pays off and it’s true for CAT as well. If you have worked hard in your school and college and have a strong base of knowledge then cracking CAT will just require regular learning as per CAT syllabus and practicing of old CAT papers. Practicing by solving old question papers is very important because often questions are repeated and if you have already practiced then you will have the answer in no time. So time is ticking as registration are already open and you have just about 3 months left to study.
