2 Sewn!

I am working on a set of 12 placemats for our new home (whenever we get one) and I have 2 done all but the binding with 10 more to machine quilt.

So, I thought I would share them with you today-  there is a wall hanging in progress as well.  Trying out a few stitches from my Mom's Pfaff creative she left me has been a lot of fun.

These are Panels I bought in flat folds at Craft Warehouse Kennewick WA.  The far right windmill black and white strip- I have yardage like that to make napkins out of when these projects are finished.  I used a Frixon pen to mark the 1" lines on the sides but I eyeballed all the rest I am trying to just keep it simple and fun so I get them done and so I don't get discouraged!    I used Fusible batting and I am a bit disappointed that my fabric still moved a bit on the top but the 505 spray on the batting to the backing is working like a charm.

I have decided all my future quilting projects of any size will be that way- simple and fun (and git er done) ;o)

Hope your Saturday has been productive as well~!

I want to share with you that I watched Prime Tv today and the Movie is called The Promise- it was a fabulously heartbreaking story about historical events and the guy that plays Poe in the new Star Wars movies was the main character. I liked it a lot.

I also created my Paper Pumpkin kit cards today, will share tomorrow!

hugs!

Gwen
