It's amazing how quickly the world around you can change. It's been a while since I've posted, nearly 1.5 years. I currently work as a help desk support agent. I had my ACL surgery and I am getting ready to play ultimate this upcoming spring. I also have taken care of nearly everything I needed to go back to school. I have reunited with old friends, and hang out with them nearly daily. Life is good :)
So why blog about it? Nobody cares about the good times, they want strife, angst, conflict, consequences, etc. I feel it may be important to take a look back and notice the things that we may have missed the first time.
Anyways sometimes life takes you places you never expected, but it sure is fun! I feel happy again, motivated, ready to become me again. With added randomness of jobs, school, ultimate, WoW, Jaime's, and the rest of life, I haven't gotten 8 hours of sleep in forever. Yet I don't care, it's almost as if sleep is optional. Oh well go me. :)
It's funny how these little changes can push you back in the right direction. I found out semi recently that I am not a celiac, I just suffer from anxiety. Anyways I quit Friendly's and have stopped stressing myself out. The changes are miraculous, I honestly don't care what people think anymore, I mean I still try to be good, honest, and caring, but it's not as if I feel like I have to hide who I am anymore. It feels good.
Onto the topic of the day, possibly week haven't decided how much time I want to devote to this yet.
TOPIC: ROCK BAND
We are quit possibly the best band ever. We reached legendary status after completing the 58 song set (ow!). So now whenever anyone plays with us they will know. It seems like the game is harder when you have actual players playing every instrument. Specially now that we are moving up to hard on everything (lead guitar was already).
The point being this game rocks! It is literally one of the most addictive games I have ever played. It releases new songs every week for download (gotta buy em though). It's amazing to see how well it pulls in even non gamers. Jonno likes video games, but he was even sucked into the 58 song list that we played till 3:30am. It may possibly be taking over the world.
That's right folks, do not be surprised if it mutates like 'Trapper Keeper' and starts absorbing everything in it's path. Pretty soon robots from the future will come back in time to help us defeat it, will will succeed?!
With the future up in the air I will still continue to play, cause I ain't afraid of now game. Except Bioshock, which in my opinion was game of the year easy, however it lost in my mag to fucking portal.
Do I look like the kind of guy that wants my gun to shoot portals and not explosives? Screw that! I don't even play a hunter in wow!
Anyways it's good to see the world having fun, but let's not forget that the aliens invented TV and video games to distract us so they can take over the world.
