It is not necessary to think that after the release of the Landaulet G650, Mercedes stopped thinking about ultra-luxury SUVs. Mercedes G-Class iconic off-roader is now available with two special editions that add individuality and luxurious appointments.

Special versions of Exclusive Edition are available for G63 and G65 and will only be sold in Germany. Mercedes-AMG G63 and G65 Exclusive Editions can be had from €163,125.20 ($177,803) and €287,658.70 ($313,542) respectively in Germany. The automaker said that the offer comes with a client advantage of 24% to a comparably equipped model. If we compare the cost of Exclusive Edition with the “ordinary” G65, then the difference in price will be in favor of the “limited edition” around 12,000 Euros – G65 is estimated at 275,723 Euros at home. So, what is so exclusive about these cars?

Outside, the legendary SUV has the Designo Magma Red, Designo Mystic White and Obsidian Black color options, a set of 5-spoke AMG-made wheels wrapped in 275/55 tires, and Obsidian Black detailing for the three louvers on the grille, side mirror casings and spare wheel cover.

There are some changes inside. For example, the two-color instrument panel is covered with a new leather upholstery, the seats are also provided with a new Nappa leather upholstery in several color combinations. Regardless of the choice of upholstery, the seats have a specially embroidered pattern and multi-circuit heating, there are red seat belts, and the new steering wheel from AMG Performance completes the package of interior auto conversions.

The G65 gets a powerful V12 engine with 630 horsepower and a huge torque of 1000 Nm as usual. It’s good for a 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) run in 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 143 mph (230 kph). Only a little less than the G65 G63: V8, 571 hp, 760 Nm and acceleration to 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in 5.4 seconds.
