In just a few days before the start of the Geneva Motor Show, Porsche has revealed a completely new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo wagon. The length of the Sport Turismo is 5049 mm, the width is 1937 mm, and the height is 1428 mm, wheelbase extends to 2950 mm. However, the main difference from the second generation of the sedan is concentrated in the back: up to 520 liters storage capacity – around 50 liters more than the Panamera sedan when fully loaded.

Another interesting detail about the wagon is a rather massive adaptive spoiler on the boot door, which automatically rises when the car accelerates more than 170 km /h. The spoiler can be activated at lower speeds as well, (in excess of 87 km/h), but only when the Sport or Sport Plus mode is on. The Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) also steps in when the panoramic sliding roof is open at speeds of over 56 mph, moving the spoiler’s angle of inclination to +26 degrees in order to help minimize wind noise.

The rear pew is now available with three seats, using a central third seat creating a 2+1 rear bench. The seats can be folded down together or individually in a 40:20:40 split, opening up 1,390-litres of room. Alternatively, two separate electrically adjustable seats separated by a center console can be specked instead, as found in the Panamera Coupe.

Engine options are much like those of the regular Panamera. The Sport Turismo range starts with the 325bhp Panamera 4 Sport Turismo and tops out with the 542bhp Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo, with E-Hybrid, Panamera 4S and Panamera 4S diesel options in between.

The all-new 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo will make its official debut March 7 at the Geneva Motor Show.
