BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Going to Geneva

BMW i8 in Protonic Frozen Black version will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be held in March of this year.

The body of the new modified hybrid Sports Car is painted in matte black, the hood and bumpers are glossy black. The seats and center console in the cabin have bright yellow contrast stitching, alongside Protonic Frozen Black lettering on the doorsills. It is expected that the sale of the new version will start in April.

One more special modification of the BMW i8 known as Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition will hit the market in 2017. The interior of this version will be the same as the “black” sports car, with the exception of other inscriptions on thresholds.

BMW sports car is equipped with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder hybrid engine which is good for 357 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The i8 also achieves 28 MPGe and has an estimated range of 15 miles on pure battery power. As previously reported, the Germans will also bring the restyled family of BMW 4 Series and a new generation of the BMW 5 Series Touring at the Geneva Motor Show.
