A very special ‘something new’

Every piece of jewellery we create here at Hand on Heart is shaped by the unique story behind it and we often receive requests which really touch our hearts. One such  request came from the lovely Rebecca, who got in touch recently to see if we could create her cousin a fingerprint necklace in memory of her Mum who had sadly passed away.

What made it all the more special is that Rebecca would be giving her cousin the necklace as her ‘something new’ to be worn at her wedding in Zante, so that her Mum could be right there with her on her special day.

Rebecca provided us with a clear photo of her Aunt Angela’s fingerprint which had been taken by the McMillan ladies and our dedicated design team set to work turning it into a stunning, bespoke Cut-Out Heart Necklace.

It really was an honour to be able to create such a special keepsake and we were all delighted to hear from Rebecca when she left a lovely post on our facebook page to let us know how pleased both she and her cousin were with the necklace.
