In recent months, the designers here at the Hand on Heart have been busy creating and finalising a Memorial Fingerprint Range. With products suitable for both him and her, each piece is impressed with the true fingerprint of your loved one. The full fingerprint is used on each piece in the range, and therefore the amount of detail that is seen on the jewellery will vary depending on the fingerprint supplied.

Each piece has the option to receive a free printing kit, and you can also choose which delivery service you would like the kit dispatched on. We suggest using a next day service to ensure the print kit arrives in time for the prints to be taken. Many funeral directors will have experience in taking fingerprints, all they need to do is carefully read the instructions included and take a selection of prints so we can get as much detail as possible on the jewellery.

After you post your prints to us and the jewellery is created, the original prints are returned with your order. However, a digital copy of the prints are kept on file for a minimum of two years and can be used to make more jewellery in the future if you wish.

We understand that you may not be thinking about what jewellery you would like to order after a loved one has sadly passed away, but you are able to order a fingerprint kit only from us to be received by 1pm the following day so prints can be taken for an order placed at a later date. If you have existing fingerprints we can also use these to create a special memorial keepsake. You can take a high-resolution scan and email the prints to us or post the originals which will be returned with your order.

You may not have any fingerprints from your loved one, but our In Memory Range includes jewellery created from handwriting or solely personalised pieces which do not require any prints or artwork from the customer, perfect for keeping that special someone close.
