Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Lisa is our hostess this week and she's challenging us to a cool color palette. Hope to see lots of you playing along this week!
To begin, I sponged Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper with Broken China Distress ink and Sour Apple dye ink, then cut it using Big Birthday Wishes Die-namics. Next, I created a background using the same inks and Mini Cloud Edges and Drifts and Hills Stencils on a Smooth White card stock base.
Using foam tape, the die cut sentiment was popped up on foam tape and Cutest Clouds Ever Die-namics were added, also using foam tape.
To complete the design, I stamped the balloons from RAM Itching to Tell You Happy Birthday Stamp Set and cut them with the coordinating Die-namics. To carry out the color palette, they were paper pieced with MSTN Pretty in Plaid Patterned Paper and also popped up on foam.
