Peace–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #416

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I used just a little creative license on this card ;-) For the space between the two panels I’m using the bottom of the top Our Town die cut. Otherwise, I think I’m good :)

I began by sponging my night sky using Blueberry and After Midnight Premium Dye Inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. Next I splattered some slightly watered down Copic Opaque White and then hand-drew the large star using a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and more Copic Opaque White, then popped that up on foam tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Next I cut two copies of Our Town Die-namics, adhered the bottom one directly and popped the top one up on foam and I added a strip of Silver Sparkle card stock across the bottom for some contrast. Then I heat embossed the sentiment from Filled with Joy Stamp Set on a circle of After Midnight card stock cut with Circle STAX Set 2. I adhered that with foam tape and it was done!

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
