Log Cabin Quilt Pattern
Please look at the jeg of the quilt pattern, there are pieced strips in this block and looking at my quilt block now, I should have used colors that popped in the piecing. Make/piece yours as you like.
Cut 1 Red – 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Cut 1 Green – 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Cut 1 Gray - 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew to make center
Cut 1 Blue – 3 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the bottom
Cut 1 Red – 3 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the left
Cut 1 Blue – 4 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the top
Cut 1 Red – 4 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the right side
Cut 1 Gray - 4 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the bottom
Cut 1 Gray – 5 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the left side
Cut 3 Pink – 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Cut 3 Yellow – 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew into units as shown
Sew to the top
Sew to the right side
Cut 1 Pink – 7 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the bottom
Cut 1 Gray - 7 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the left side
Cut 1 Dk Gray - 8 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the top
Cut 1 Blue - 8 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the right side
Cut 1 Dk Gray - 9 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the bottom
Cut 1 Pink – 9 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the left side
Cut 1 Blue – 10 ½’ x 1 ½” Sew to the top.
