I admit it. I buy Paper products like there’s no tomorrow. Occasionally I do send out some note cards to friends, but by and large, I buy them because I just can’t resist the adorable designs printed on them. I’m an addict, I tell ya.

Sometimes, to validate my spending, I try to convince myself that if I just had that one perfect stationary set with that perfect print, I would be so excited and motivated to use them that I’d write furiously to all my friends and I’d run out of note cards before the end of the day.

What usually happens is I just can’t bare the thought of accidentally ruining one of those beautiful pieces of paper by y’know, getting ink on it or something, so it stares up at me from the bottom of my paper drawer for years on end.

(note: don’t be like me. Bad habits, all of ’em. )

But in case you are like me, I’ll just offer an apology now, because I’ve found some paper products that’ll make you swoon. You might want to get someone else to hold on to your pocketbook.

First of all, has anyone else seen this? This is one of those things I look at and thing, “I really should have come up with this idea, darnit!” But alas, I did not. Its a little organizer clutch from DownstairsDesigns, and it happens to be perfect for storing stamps, envelopes, cards, and other miscellaneous notepads in. Think about this next time you’re rummaging madly through every drawer in the house trying to find where you last stowed your stamps.

(Or if that isn’t a problem for you, kudos again for not being like me).

cute, right? There are tons of fabric combinations to choose from, but honestly I kind of like this one, Something about that color blue gets me every time.

Anyway, moving on…here’s a beautiful card from twinravenpress.

And I really love what the artist wrote in the description:

In post World War II Japan, origami cranes have become a symbol of and wish for world peace. It is said that anyone who folds 1,000 of these cranes will be granted one wish. This beautiful letterpress card, featuring an image of one origami paper crane is a great way to send a message of peace and hope for any occasion, anytime of year.”

Such a great sentiment and what a creative, fun way to say it! All of the cards from this seller are fabulous. Check her out.

Throwing a party? Looking for some great Invite/RSVP cards? I think I found ’em at rockpapersizzle:

these originally caught my eye because of the peacock design, which I love…

…but then I noticed the organizing pockets to neatly hold all the envelopes. How cool is this??!

And there you have it folks. I already know where I’m buying my wedding invitations (many, many years in the future yet, but I suppose it’s never too early to start planning).

Alright how about one more find, eh? It’s hard narrowing them down…but I just have to share this one:

Yeah, its a pop-up card, apparently viewable 360 degrees around. That, along with the level of detail, really impresses me. PetrinaCaseStudio really outdoes herself on every card. Some are even almost ornaments in themselves, you could hang them on a tree. Make sure to stop by and see her fabulous work! and at only $5 a card that you can pull out and display over again each year, they’re quite a good deal, too!

Wow, I should say that was overwhelming. thousands and thousands of cards…Etsy could run Hallmark out of business in no time. I love seeing all the unique, creative, sometimes weird, but usually amusing ideas people come up with. It might even have inspired me to try my hand at making some cards out of all that scrapbooking stuff I never used.

…nah. I’ll just buy them on Etsy. :)
