Break out the pool toys – SUMMER IS HERE! I feel like we’ve lived in anticipation for this moment for months, and now school is out and the party is on!

Including one of our new puppies, and a 4-year-old.

First up, the toddler.
Is a 4-year-old considered a toddler? 
When you’re kid #6 in a family, I reserve the right to call him a toddler for as long as I desire!



I just love Carter’s tees and short collections because they often have so many pieces that are interchangeable. 
It makes shopping easier for mom and dressing easier for a kiddo just learning! 
Plus, I love the details that mix things up a little bit! Check out the darling buttons and pocket on this cute henley!
The shorts are as comfy as the basketball shorts he always wants to wear, but look a LOT nicer. They pair well with just about anything.



I also grabbed this plaid option for those “nicer” occasions and was so pleased with it.
It actually feels like a linen type of material and is super soft and lightweight for Summer.



Their clothing is always kid lifestyle friendly meaning, they wash well and use fabrics that are conducive to a VERY active lifestyle. 
All smiles in these clothes!

Easy to slip on or off, which in turn makes MY life easier!



Next up, big sister. 
This gal doesn’t mess around and can usually be found in sports shorts and tanks during the Summer, but she does love a simple, comfy dress or two!
This tank dress meets the mark!


It’s soft, easy to throw on and go, and has great detail.
I love the tiered lace details.


She loves the sporty racerback!



I will say I did think this dress ran on the small size. She’s usually an 8, and could have done a 10, so keep that in mind if you’re between sizes.

We paired the dress with these fun sandals.
The woven detail reminds me of my beach bag and totally scream SUMMER!






Did you know Carter’s carries up to size 14?
This means even the tween/teen crowd can benefit!
My 13-year-old got in on the action with this age-appropriate combo.



I actually picked out this top for her because I thought it was a bit nicer than a typical tee, but still comfy and versatile!
The ruched yoke and feminine details are spot on!



The top paired beautifully with these lace trimmed shorts.
Can I just say, it’s difficult to find shorts for this age that are not SUPER short or bermuda long shorts. These are a fantastic in between length that really worked perfectly!
They fit perfectly true to size with an adjustable waist in you need a little extra cinching.

As you can see, we had NO problem finding so many great options for the kiddos at Carter’s.
We never come up empty handed because there really are so many wonderful finds that wear well, wash well and are affordable!
