Recently we traveled to Orlando for a family vacation and spent some time at this beautiful resort. Reunion Resort was the perfect balance of being relaxing while still offering plenty of fun for the kids.

2. Kid-Friendly Fun
Let’s face it, all kids really want to do on vacation is swim in the pool and Reunion Resort has 13 beautiful swimming pools and even their own water park equipped with twisting water slides and a lazy river. The kids were in heaven.
The house we stayed in even had its own private pool.
There is plenty to do outside the pool as well. There is volleyball, bike riding, tennis, giant chess, ping-pong, some great playgrounds and plenty of resort events to keep them entertained for days.
3. Delectable Dining
For me, the pinnacle of any vacation is that I can enjoy delicious food without having to cook it! When it comes to dining, Reunion Resort has six incredible restaurants ranging from fine dining at Eleven to a casual poolside grill and even the Grande Lobby Sushi Bar to choose from. There is no reason to ever leave the resort once you’re there. Now that’s my idea of the perfect relaxing family vacation.
We had a delicious meal at Eleven where all our five kids tried calamari for the first time…and liked it! Of course they thought it was a different type of onion ring and we didn’t tell them until we got home that they actually ate squid!
One of the highlights of our stay in Florida was seeing all the beautiful sunsets which you have an amazing view of at Eleven. You can also see the Disney World fireworks from the balcony, it is pretty magical.
If you don’t feel like getting dressed up to go out, you can get in-room dining which I highly recommend. The Reunion Resort caters beautiful, delicious meals and brings them right to your home! It is stress-free living to the max.
4. World-Class Golf
If you like golf, then you’ll love the world-class golf courses at Reunion Resort designed by three of golf’s greatest icons Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Arnold Palmer. That’s an unforgettable opportunity!

There are always plenty of things going on at Reunion Resort. If total relaxation is what you want, you can definitely stay by the pool or enjoy your beautiful room. I got the hot stone massage which was exactly what I needed. The soothing music and sensation of warm stones on all of my stress points had me in the most relaxed state—nearly asleep but still awake enough to thoroughly enjoy it.
It was the perfect way to end my stay at Reunion Resort.
You know those vacations that feel like you need a vacation from your vacation when you get home? Reunion Resort was absolutely nothing like that. We arrived home fully relaxed and happily reminiscing about all the fun memories we made there.
