Attractive Seal Pair by Wu Zi, Qing Dynasty
Pair of leisure Seals be the important seal carver Wu Zi (吳咨 1813-1858). The seals come in a Zi-tan wood cassette. The covers of the seals are well carved – a fisherman a tone and Chinese characters at the other.
Carving of the seals: dao shi ju-shi 道實居士 (Buddhist of the true way) and: dao zhong zhai 道眾齋 (way of numerous alms).
The seals are 48 x 48 x 20 mm, the cassette is 170 x 84 x 40 mm, good condition.
