Chinese Leisure Seal by Lou Xinhu
Small Chinese Leisure Seal by the artist Lou Xinhu 楼辛壶 (1881 – 1950), who most of all was famous for his paintings.
As actual seal 5 characters have been carved: 人生行轩耳 rensheng xing xuan er (hard to translate, basically: life conducts you to end up on a carriage [old type of curtained carriage] with ears [means: no privacy, everyone can hear you] ).
Side-engraving with signature of the artist.
16 x 16 x 44 mm, good condition.
