Autograph Maria Cebotari, early Photo
Maria Cebotari was discovered by Count Alexander Virubov. They both married and moved to Paris and later Berlin. Cebotari took singing lessons and in 1931 Fritz Busch took her to Berlin.
In 1941 Bruno Walter engaged her for performances at the Salzburger Festspiele.
