April Studio Organizing, Task Two

Well, it didn’t take me long to fill my cutting table back up after I cleared it off, but I’m *this close* to finishing two more quilt tops, so I hope that mess is only temporary. And after I cleaned and oiled my machine, it started skipping stitches. I was ready to pitch it out the window, but it finally got itself lined out and started behaving. I had to change the needle a second time — uff!

So my “organizing” has been more work than I intended lately. But I go through spells, so I’m not surprised. This time, I want to leave it wide open for interpretation. Here’s our challenge:

It’s spring, and I feel like doing a major purge, but I’m down to things that need big decisions made about them, and that doesn’t go as quickly as the initial purging does. It’s easy to get rid of things when you first start out, but after you’ve gone through the easy Stuff, it gets harder, as more decisions need to be made. Have you discovered that?

So I think what I’m Gonna do is go through one last pile of tubs that needs attention, and then try to clear out a bit more of my hand-sewing room so that I can set up my hand-quilting frame! It’s a big project, and I’m not sure I’ll get done before the next challenge, but I’m gonna work on it.

The last time I took a photo of that catch-all corner, this is what it looked like:

I’ve since pulled a lot more stuff out of there, but the pile seems bottomless!

I’m gonna work on it, and hopefully, I’ll shoot a worthy after photo soon.

What will YOU choose to work on this time?
