Mad Dash Wrap Up

It’s a wrap! We’ve covered every topic I can think of related to making a Mad Dash quilt, and I hope if you made one (or are making one) that all the extra hints and tips and pictures helped out.

I’m still working on mine. I got three more blocks done this past week! So it’s slow, but it’s still top of mind, at least.

I saw Shirley last week, and she had just finished quilting hers:

Isn’t it fabulous? She used swirls in the yellow part and an all-over small meander in the purple/pink parts. She has since finished the binding, so hers is now completely done!

Tanya has hers finished, and then went and bought a bigger bed! Since she’s making it for her husband, and he wants to use it on the bed, she’s contemplating some extra borders to bring the size up. Here it is from the last photo she sent me. The colors are wonderful:

Don’t worry if you’re not done. The sew-along posts will remain up indefinitely, so you can always come back and refer to them if you need to, altho I sincerely hope that the pattern is written well enough that you can figure it out with that!

For one last hoorah, I’m having a give-away.

I’m giving away a surprise fat quarter bundle of four fat quarters to one lucky winner. All you need to do to enter is leave a comment on this post. It’s open to anyone in the US, whether you sewed along or not, so all US entries are welcome.

I’ll draw for a winner on Monday, the 17th.

If you didn’t sew along, but want to, you can start HERE and find all the information you need to make your own Mad Dash!

And thanks to everyone who did sew along — I hope you love your quilts!
