Mad Dash Sew-Along, Final Assembly

Woohoo! If you’re ready for the final Assembly, then you’ve done a great job!

It’s time to put all those sections together. You DID label your sections as you went, right?

The Main thing for the final setting is to make sure that you have each section in the right position and turned correctly. This will ensure that all the partial blocks line up to make whole blocks in the finished quilt.

Here’s my original version:

Here’s my orange/low-volume version:

Just in case you needed to see them again.

It’ll be awhile before I can show you my raspberry/lime version, but the good news is I HAVE started sewing on it again. Now that I’m once again able to trim the triangles, I’m back at it.

And that’s what’s great about this sew-along — it’s a work-at-your-own-pace deal, so no worries if you aren’t to the finishing stages yet. These posts will remain up indefinitely so that you can refer to them when/if you need to.

Just a refresher:

Here’s the link to the main info post that contains links to all the installments.

Here’s the link to the category containing all the links in reverse chronological order.

Here’s the introductory link telling all about the quilts and the pattern.

I’ll be back next week with the final sew-along wrap-up post and a give-away. If you have photos of your quilt to share (finished or not), please send them in and I’ll feature them in our final post! I’d love to see your progress (and your color choices).
