Brunswick Forest, Block Eleven

So close to the finish line! Only one more block after this one.

By now, you’ve gotten used to all the triangles, and hopefully, you’ve begun work on your setting, regardless of which setting version you’ve chosen.

Block Eleven is called Peach Tree, and it doesn’t have many triangles in it. It’s another one that is easy and made of squares.

Here’s my fall version:

Here’s my non-traditional version:

And here’s my Scrappy one. This month’s color was peachy orange — you know, to look like peaches!

You can make the little 4-patches completely scrappy, or you can make them as shown and turn them either direction to get that line of color running however you wish, either horizontally or vertically. I was trying to make mine look as if there were peaches in among the branches and leaves of the tree.

By now, you can also start using your leftovers to piece your Border if you’re doing the scrappy border. Or you can do the borders as shown on the non-traditional version and use one focal fabric. Or do like Candice did and use a stripe to mimic the pieced border — get the look without all the work!

You can also leave the borders completely off like I did on my scrappy version.

That’s it for this month. I hope you’re keeping up and enjoying making all the trees for your Brunswick Forest quilt!
