Brunswick Forest, Block Ten

Oh, the lovely Cypress tree! With their long, tall trunks and their soft, needly branches. I realize that “soft and needly” sounds like an oxymoron, but seriously! — have you ever petted a cypress tree? They’re actually quite soft. I love the way the wind sounds through them. They’re quite regal.

The cypress tree is this month’s block in the Brunswick Forest BOM.

Here’s my fall-colored version:

And my scrappy one. I used all one low-volume print for my accent “color” this time:

We’re still doing triangles this month, but they’re not super tiny, and there aren’t a lot of them, and there are some squares mixed in, so I’m sure you can handle this.
