Organizing hasn’t been high on my list of priorities lately, because I’m working hard to Finish up my newest BOM program that launches very soon! I’m excited to get to show it to you — the big reveal is August 14th!

Since we were allowed to choose our own task last time, I chose to work on my scrap basket. Here’s a before photo. I should never allow it to get this high, and I had resolved to empty it each week, but that plan has obviously fallen by the wayside.

And I did not work on it for very long, because I need to be doing other things (like actual sewing), and in the meantime, I keep making more scraps to add to it!

But here’s the after shot — hardly any noticeable difference:

I DID take time to label all the drawers on my new scrap storage unit, and I must say, I wish I had done this a LONG time ago. I love it this way — it’s so much easier to put the pieces away, and to get them out to use out of them.

And in the interest of not adding any additional things to my list because I’m still in overwhelm mode, this next task is sort of another “choose your own” task:

Pick a previous task you haven’t gotten finished yet, and revisit it

Sort of like we did HERE. There are Lots of areas I could work on, but until I finish the BOM, I’m not really concentrating on anything else, so if I get any organizing done, it’ll be an accident!

Have you been short on organizing time, too? I know the heat has been keeping lots of folks indoors — this is our hottest week yet. Before that it was all the storms and rain. It’s also vacation time for lots of people, so maybe you haven’t even been home at all?
