Felt Bottle Cap Magnets

Summer is the perfect time for adding bright pops of color to your home and these Felt Bottle Cap Magnets are perfect for the kitchen. These magnets were so easy to make and a great way to use up my felt scraps. Disney’s Up movie is one of my favorites and the “Ellie badge” was my inspiration for these. What you need: felt, magnets, hot glue gun, scissors, embroidery floss, needle, small jar lid If you have a collection of jar lids, pull them out because this is a great way to repurpose them. Cut out a circle the size of your lid in the color of your choice. Place the circle on a white piece of felt. Cut the white felt into a larger circle. Now decorate your bottle caps with more felt and embroidery. Use your hot glue gun to glue a magnet to the middle of the jar. Glue the lid to the backside of your bottle cap. Glue the white felt around the bottle cap by adding a drop of glue to the side of the lid and pressing the felt into it. Be sure to leave small spaces that aren’t glued to the lid, to create the bottle cap look. You can trim off any extra felt that hangs below the lid. Aren’t these Felt Bottle Cap Magnets adorable?
