Felt Succulent Wall Hanging

I’ve been wanting to make felt succulents for a while and finally got around to making some. This sweet little Felt Succulent Wall Hanging is going into Scout’s room, but I’ll definitely make another for my room. Scout will be 10 years old in a couple months and has been begging me to give her room a makeover. Her style is a little more modern than mine and she prefers warm earth tones over bright colors so I kept that in mind while making this. What you need: succulent template, felt, scissors, embroidery floss, needle, embroidery hoop, printer I had this template in three different sizes. Trace the templates onto felt and cut out. You can find free succulent templates online or use the attachment below. succulents Start with the smallest piece and roll together. I used a needle and embroidery floss to stitch the succulent in place. You can use a hot glue instead if you prefer. Moving up in size, wrap the other felt pieces around the first and secure with a few stitches. I used all three pieces for each succulent. Set your succulents aside and grab two pieces of felt for the wall hanging. Place them in the embroidery hoop to create a “pocket”. Stick the succulents in the pocket (slightly) and stitch in place. Trim the access felt and add a ribbon for hanging.
