DIY Felt Fireworks

I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but I have a small obsession with felt. It’s so easy to work with and you can pretty much make anything with it. These DIY felt Fireworks are so cute and they didn’t take much time to make at all. This is a great way to use up scraps and a fun craft that you can work on anywhere. I was going to originally hang these on a wreath, but they look so cute placed in a bucket, that I’m leaving them for now . What you need: felt, scissors, Embroidery Floss, needle, stuffing Take a rectangle piece of felt and decorate with more felt and stitch together with embroidery floss. When the felt is decorated, stitch the two ends together to create a tube. Cut a couple circles for both sides of the “tube”. Stitch the circles on both ends, but add your stuffing before stitching completely closed. A piece of braided embroidery floss added to the end makes a great wick. I made a couple labels for my fireworks and added them to the rectangle felt before turning them into “tubes” and stuffing. Aren’t these adorable? I tried out a couple different styles, but I love them all. These DIY felt fireworks can easily be added to a wreath, garland or look adorable just sitting in a bucket. My son Talyn already said he’s going to decorate the table with them on the 4th, so these could also be used as cute place settings.
