DIY Embroidered Pin Cushions

It seems like everyone is sewing these days because of the mask frenzy and I have a great way for you to use up your fabric scraps. I made these DIY Embroidered Pin Cushions in no time at all and love how they turned out. Make one for yourself and one for a friend because they make a fun little gift also… and right now is a great time for gifts that make people smile. What you need: fabric, felt, embroidery floss, pen, stuffing, scissors, embroidery hoop You’ll need a piece of felt and fabric for each of these DIY Embroidered Pin Cushions. Place your fabric into an embroidery hoop. Add your embroidery to the fabric. Remove the fabric and trace the hoop around your embroidery so you have a perfect circle. Stitch the fabric and felt together, stitching along the circle you traced. Before you stitch all the way around the pin cushion, add stuffing. When your pin cushion is stitched closed, be sure to tie the embroidery floss in a double knot. Trim the access fabric and felt. I made of these DIY Embroidered Pin Cushions because they were so easy and adorable. I added ribbons to a couple of these pin cushions and love the extra charm they add.
