Framed Felt Quilt

I’m loving my new DIY Framed felt Quilt art and definitely plan on making more. The possibilities are endless when it comes to designs and these can be personalized to match any home decor. I chose fun, colorful colors that are perfect for spring/summer, but these would be great for holidays as well. This is such an easy craft, that it’s also perfect for kids and a great gift idea! What you need: felt, embroidery floss, embroidery needle, scissors, picture frame Pick out a picture fame and your favorite colors of felt. I traced the back of the frame onto a piece of paper and used this as my guide for my felt squares. Once you have your quilt squares, cut out additional pieces to add to the squares. This is where you really get to be creative! Take you embroidery floss and stitch the felt pieces together. This is the perfect craft for you to practice different stitches and work on your embroidery skills. I used different colors of embroidery floss for my framed felt quilt, but one colors works fine also. When your squares are finished, you can stitch them together. Now you can place your quilt into the frame. I think this DIY framed felt quilt is adorable and a great way to change up your home decor. You can use white felt for a farmhouse theme, black and white for something a little more dramatic or colors to match any holiday.
